Hypohidrotic ectodermal dysplasia is a iare congenital sydro-me which ectoderma structures. it is usually transmitted as an X-iinked recessive trait. Rarely it can he transmitted autoso-mai recessively. Manifestations of this disorder may include teeth, skin, hah; nail s and sweat glands. Most affected child-ren require extensive den'al treatment to restore their appea-rance and promote normal growth and development.
